I did own a 2000 Accord and used the original cold air intake and then later upgraded to the V2 when it was developed and I liked the sound and performance of the V2 more. So on to the new one for my 2006 Accord V6...

PROS:
Fit and Finish
Audible throttle response
Cleaner look in the engine bay
Noticeably better low end response

CONS:
Removal of stock resonator is a pain (especially with factory fog lights)
Having to drain coolant (not much of an issue and 1 gallon is not required to be drained)
Unlike the 4 cyl V2 I had for my 2000, the V6 version has a distinctly different intake tone (it is not as audibly pleasing as it was for the 4 cyl)
Removal of the battery to install, this is Honda not AEM
Kit does not come with Nylok nut, just a regular nut (I have plenty of fasteners at my disposal and found a Nylok to use)
Finally the new dry flow air filter (May flow as good as K&N but it requires 2 whole bottles of AEM dry filter cleaner to be cleaned and looks as if it may need to be cleaned more often, and unfortunately I do not have any spares at this time to install while I wait for it to dry)

Overall I am pleased, the fit is better than I expected, I did put some foam between the pipe and body to prevent scratches and rattles on the contact point just rearward of the battery. I gave it 4 stars because of the filter, since I have used K&N filters for nearly 15 years I have plenty of cleaner and oil for those filters, now I will need to buy something else or just order a K&N to fit. Also not a big deal but my box did not have a license plate frame in it, and as stated did not come with a Nylok nut per the parts list, did get a nice grommet that was not listed though (no use for it). If you are looking to get more response from your Accord, then this intake can do it.

AEM's V2 intake systems use a patented dual chamber design that maximizes horsepower and torque - producing even more power that our own Cold Air systems.On a dyno graph, the area under the power band (or power curve) represents the amount of effort that an engine is producing. The larger the overall area under the curve, the more power your engine is making. The AEM V2 utilizes a dual chamber (using two different diameters and lengths of piping) that creates multiple frequency sound waves to produce the largest area under the curve of any intake system on the market. These sound waves help charge the cylinders with more air throughout the entire rpm range and are what enables the V2 to outperform even our own Cold Air systems. We have found that inlet length plays a vital role in the power production of V2 systems and not all V2 induction systems relocate the filter outside of the engine compartment. In these cases, we performed extensive temperature testing to locate the filter in the coolest area of the engine compartment to achieve the lowest inlet temperatures possible. Please refer to our temperature testing procedures for more information.
