This is an excellent cabin air filter, BMW has 2 types of filter available for the above models - one with carbon and one without, while both BMW versions are expensive, the non-carbon variant is slightly cheaper but tends to let in exhaust and other odours. This TYC filter is carbon impregnated and I have found works as well as or better that BMW's carbon filter, at a fraction of the price of the BMW or OEMs. I highly recommend it. also very easy to change on the 5 series (2004 onwards).
